Week VII: Jose Alfredo/ El Hijo del Pueblo

To experience the loss of a loved one, whether in spirit or presence, creates a void that many attempt to fill as an act of futility. In times of loss, remnants of times passed seem to retrieve a moment of reprieve, in which we may get lost in reminiscent bliss, only for the stark reminder of our tumultuous reality to awaken our being in a torrent of torment, and wash the swathes of melancholy in the fissure of their absence
