Week XIII: Las Mexicanas

It is true that a house is not a home without a woman's presence, but even with a broader scale a country cannot exist without the impact of its women. But often times, we witness the voice of women being muted, forced to step back into the twilight of their male counterparts, to wear the veils of subservience, the cloak of restraint and censorship. This effort has produced innumerable feats of perseverance and triumph of women, ceasing to seize their voice and create their place in history and culture.
